Independence!!!

The City of San Marcos is hosting the most exciting community independence celebration along the banks of the beautiful San Marcos River. This FREE event will feature live entertainment, food booths, children's activities, children's costume competition and parade. Summerfest will be held on the grounds of San Marcos Plaza Park, same location as Sights of Sounds of Christmas. The fireworks show has been cancelled but the annual celebration will go on as scheduled. Rain or shine, festivities will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a variety of musical and family entertainment until 11:00 p.m.

Admission: FREE

Summerfest is an alcohol free event. Coolers are subject to inspection.
